Lemon-Lime-Agave Yerba Mate
All the ingredients are listed in the name! Nice, citrusy, not-too-sweet, smoky taste! Very refreshing and stimulating. Yerba Mate has a gentler form of caffeine than coffee (mateine is it' actual name), while being definitely stimulating. The difference is that coffee hits the periferal and sympathetic nervous system (making folks jittery) while mateine hits the central nervous system for a more even alertness. Mate also contains 18 amino acids along with a wide number of nourishing and healthy properties.

Hot Yerba Mate with almond milk and agave
Hot, brewed Yerba mate with almond milk and agave. It's quite bitter on its own, but add almond milk and agave? Delicious!! Mate is a nourishing and stimulating tea! Mate supplies us with 18 amino acids (the building blocks of proteins) and lots of other vitamins and minerals. As well it is quite stimulating to the central nervous system. The caballeros in South America carry it with them when they go riding out on the plains. It's nourishing and also acts as an appetite suppressant for the long days when they might not be able to eat until evening. So romantic!
